In-person roadshow auditions for Indonesian citizens roughly 16–27. Prepare two songs of your choice (pop, R&B, ballad); first a producer round, then the judges. Early rounds are usually a cappella.
What to sing
One Indonesian pop ballad that shows sustained control plus one contrasting song. Sing the reff, keep it under 90 seconds. Examples: Bukan Cinta Biasa, Hati-Hati di Jalan (Tulus), Sial (Mahalini), Sampai Jadi Debu, Jikalau Kau Cinta (Judika).

Frequently asked questions
Can I sing dangdut?
You can record anything here and the judge will score it. The show skews pop, so bring dangdut to a real audition only if it is genuinely your style, and pair it with a pop ballad.
What does "kurang penghayatan" mean?
That the feeling did not come through: the words were sung correctly but not meant. On this test expression weighs heavily for that reason, and forcing or shouting lowers both tone and expression.
What should I record?
30 to 60 seconds of the part of a song that shows you best, a cappella or with a quiet backing track, in a quiet room with the phone about 30 cm from your mouth. Each page suggests what to sing.
Does my age change the verdict?
If you tell us your age band, the judge compares you with what a voice that age can do, and younger singers get a small allowance on the readiness bar. The Voice Kids page is judged on a child's scale by default.
